L’azione ripetuta per le tre sere del festival consiste nell’estrarre con le mani e pochi utensili domestici i suoni da uno dei tavoli che nel 2016 servì alla performance relazionale “Valore energetico” di Laura Cionci; un tavolo antico, vissuto, con tante sedimentazioni acustiche al suo interno. Il mio desiderio è di risvegliare queste memorie sonore e dare voce a un oggetto che sciamanicamente conserva la vita gastronomica, sociale e affettiva delle persone che negli anni hanno interagito con lui, fino ad arrivare a Laura e al suo lavoro partecipativo. Il tavolo sarà “Inbandito”, con la “n” che richiama la banda musicale, apparecchiato con piatti, posate e bicchieri, in modo che le vibrazioni prodotte e il contatto degli elementi producano una risonanza acustica inquietante, un effetto corale suggestivo e misterioso.

The action, repeated for the three evenings of the festival, involves extracting with hands and a few household tools the sounds from one of the tables used in 2016 for Laura Cionci’s relational performance “Valore energetico.” This table, antique and lived-in, holds numerous acoustic sedimentations within. My desire is to awaken these sonic memories and give voice to an object that shamanically preserves the gastronomic, social, and emotional life of the people who have interacted with it over the years, culminating with Laura and her participatory work. The table will be “Inbandito,” with the “n” reminiscent of a musical band, set with plates, cutlery, and glasses, so that the vibrations produced and the contact of the elements create an eerie acoustic resonance, an evocative and mysterious choral effect.
