Video 16:9, colore, sonoro, durata: 1’49’’

L’esordio del video è istituzionale e patriottico; la bandiera italiana sventola e l’inno è trionfale. L’inquadratura si allarga e nel campo entrano via via più bandiere e più inni nazionali in corrispondenza. Sotto l’immagine compare l’insegna di un bar tabacchi. La musica diventa caotica, ormai non si distinguono più le singole melodie, regna il caos sonoro. Così il senso istituzionale e ufficiale è totalmente stravolto e quello che era l’inizio ora non è certo la fine.

The debut of the video is institutional and patriotic; the Italian flag flutters and the national anthem is triumphant. The shot becomes wider and, gradually, more and more flags enter and, in correspondence, more national anthems. At the bottom of the video appears a sign of Tobacchi Bar. The music becomes chaotic, and now the single melodies are no longer distinguished and, the sound of chaos reigns. And so the official and institutional sense is completely twisted and, what it was the beginning is now for sure not the end.
